Collectif Bassam Has No Fear: "Meme Pas Peur"
Following the gruesome terrorist attack carried out by AQIM (Al Qaeda of the Islamic Mahgreb) at a popular beach resort in Grand Bassam, Côte d’Ivoire on March 13, a group of Ivorian musicians have come together to release a song titled "Meme Pas Peur." The group calling themselves Collectif Bassam (Bassam Collective) came together to shoot the video on a beach in Grand Bassam. The song title means "I'm not a bit afraid" in French, and it's a defiant, direct message to the terrorists that their carnage cannot destroy the indomitable spirit of the Ivorian people.
