¡Globalquerque! Festival Returns For 11th Year
The 11th annual ¡Globalquerque! festival takes place in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Sept. 25-26. The spectacular lineup this year includes the legendary Malian griot Kassé Mady Diabaté, Nigerian Afrobeat pioneer Orlando Julius, Honduran Garifuna singer Aurelio Martinez, Congo-Angolan rumba, soukous and salsa singer Ricardo Lemvo with his band Makina Loca, up-and-coming Jamaican roots reggae singer Jah9, and Tunisian songbird Emel Mathlouthi, who was dubbed "the voice of the Tunisian revolution."
