Photo Essay: Delgres and Mélissa Laveaux at France Rocks Festival

Their sound is gritty in all the best ways, but Delegres' look, as Sachyn Mital's photography proves here, is fresh and clean. He captured these pictures last night up at Lincoln Center, where the blues-by-way-of-Guadaloupe-and-New-Orleans group played with the Haitian-Canadian songwriter Mélissa Laveaux as part of the France Rocks Festival.

Word is Delgres got the Led out with a cover of "Whole Lotta Love" which makes us all the thirstier to see them when they're back in town on Sept. 25. And if you haven't checked out Laveaux's 2018 record Radyo Siwel yet, you really should. It's a banger.
