Stonebwoy, Boddhi Satva, Preto Show and Tenny Team Up on “Ragga Ragga”

There may be no country outside of the Caribbean—heck, even outside of Jamaica—that has taken to dancehall like Ghana has, but Ghanaian star Stonebwoy is happy to share knowledge and the spotlight on a continent-spanning tune “Ragga Ragga.”

As if anticipating that these might be new faces and names, the video happily explains who’s who. Check it out:

We’ve got Angola’s Preto Show opening things off with a Portuguese verse and a devastating fly jacket. Nefer Tenny, hailing from Central Africa and Lebanon, handles the chorus, and I mean really drives it home before turning things back over to Stonebwoy to ride on Boddhi Satva’s verses. Whether or not anyone was even in the studio with anyone else (and in 2020, who knows?), there's a audible interplay of energy, each artist feeding the others, the more they give the more they have, to paraphrase some Englishman.

The tune is out now on BBE records, with Satva's instrumentals on the digital B-side.
