A cast of award-winning Broadway, blues, hip-hop, and Americana stars join young performers from the Weill Music Institute’s programs to showcase how music has the power to bring people together to fight for change. Rhiannon Giddens, Toshi Reagon, Young Paris, Carrie Compere (The Color Purple), and Ro James headline this special event, emceed by Def Poetry Jam’s Lemon Andersen.
