Nollywood 3.0: Images and Stories from the African Diaspora
As travel and technology continue to shrink the globe, so does the second largest continent in the world. “Africa IS a Country” is a popular blog whose title parodies how westerners have traditionally regarded Africa. The launch of this film series provides an alternative glimpse into the current creative, vibrant contemporary film scene in Africa, highlighting distinctive lms from Nigeria and South Africa in this inaugural launch.
