Concert of Colors: 2003

The Concert of Colors in Detroit, Michigan, was one of the great world music happenings of 2003 in the U.S. This slide show presents images from the 3-day, July festival.

The musical accompaniment features excerpts from four Concert of Colors performances by Thornetta Davis, Oliver Mtukudzi and the Black Spirits, the Big 3 Palladium Orchestra, and Natasha Atlas. Fuller versions of these performances and much more can be heard on Afropop Worldwide's Concert of Colors 2003 program.
