Afropop's Picks: SummerStage 2014!
Every summer, all the boroughs and barrios of New York overflow with free live music, most of it presented by the City Parks Foundation program SummerStage. They just posted the lineup for this summer, and like the avid fans of live music that we are, we've already dug through the extensive list and picked out the shows that most excite us, as supporters of African and Afro-diasporic popular music!
