Jamaican reggae artist Protoje just dropped the tracklist for his upcoming 11-song album, Ancient Future, and things are looking good. Several tracks feature guest appearances from fellow roots revivalists like Chronixx and Jesse Royal, plus some new names. Protoje has already put out a couple of videos for singles off the album--there's some delightfully trippy animation by Taj Francis to go along with the dub remix of "Who Knows," as well as the incredibly, dare we say, stylish video for "Stylin'." The latter is shot mostly in black and white and is maybe the slickest attempt we've seen to represent iMessage in a music video. It's standard Afropop procedure to end your blog post with a single video clip, but we honestly couldn't pick a favorite, so here they both are.
