Antibalas Ticket Giveaway!
And the afrobeat train keeps on rolling! It's been a little while since we've gotten a chance to see NYC's (and arguably the United State's) leading band of Fela-loving funk revivalists. As band members continue to fan out through any number of extended-family type projects, it's always nice to see that the mothership is still flying strong. While the group hasn't released much new material since 2012's Antibalas, they're hitting New York hard this weekend, playing a Saturday show at Roulette in Brooklyn and bringing their fiery horns (and righteous political grooves) to the Highline Ballroom.
