Brown Rice Family and Jake Bright at Red Rooster - 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Wednesday, 7/24
The Wan-Luv Summer Music Series - an annual series of performances highlighting African, Caribbean, and diaspora-influenced music that takes place at Red Rooster at 310 Lennox Avenue, New York, NY - will have a concert tomorrow, July 24, 2013 from 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
The concert will feature Brown Rice Family. If you haven't heard of these guys, you should remedy that by watching the below video, in which they explain their band and their mission:

Jake Bright of Cocody Productions will perform African/Caribbean mixes between Brown Rice Family's sets, and Chad Harper of Hip Hop Saves Lives will emcee the show.
