Béla Fleck and Toumani Diabate Livestream 3 P.M. ET April 1
Traditionally, a tour accompanies the release of an album, but in the COVID-19 era. We'll settle for a trans-continental Facebook Live if we must (and we must).
Wed., April 1 at 3 p.m. ET, Béla Fleck and Toumani Diabate will be appearing on Bela's Facebook page to answer questions and trade songs. As Fleck will be in Nashville and Diabate will be in Mali, we'll have to wait for streaming technology to advance or the pandemic to recede before we get a live duet.
Of course, you could also check out their album and DVD of live recordings that they just released as part of a big crop of music from Fleck's trip to Africa and the tours with African musicians that followed.
