Fanfaraï Makes North American Debut
Paris-based brass band Fanfaraï makes their North American debut with a short tour that begins Sept. 16 in Montreal. The 11-man band plays a North African fusion of Gnawa, chaabi and rai mixed with jazz, funk and big-band brass. Under the leadership of Samir Inal, the band has performed across Europe since 2005, and now will introduce their unique sound to North America.
