Fiokee, Simi and Oxlade Team Up for “Koni Koni”
Afrobeats is a genre known for its singers, but Fiokee is the guitarist looking to make his name with his subtle, clever playing. He’s already teamed up with Afrobeats’s top artists, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Patoranking and Flavour, and just released a new track, “Koni Koni,” featuring Simi and Oxlade.

Fiokee has claimed the title of Africa's top guitarist, which is pretty bold, but also guitar music is pretty far from the center of pop music these days. He says he's trying to inspire more people to get into the instrument, but until they've practiced enough, his tasteful, tuneful approach is going to get him a lot of work.
