Imarhan Releases Eponymous Video
Imarhan can be translated to mean "the ones I care about" in Tamasheq, and the jovial, intimate visuals in the video clip from the Tuareg group's forthcoming debut album, also titled Imarhan, lives up to the translation.
Filmed by Dalel Ziour in February 2016 and edited by Recbox, the video documents Imarhan in their vibrant hometown of Tamanrasset, Hoggar, South Algeria. It offers a close-up look into the passionate daily life of “the city in the desert,” filled with vivid landscapes, gorgeous tapestries, joyous dancing, and the youthful spirit of a community.

Imarhan's debut album is set to release on April 29 on City Slang records. You can preorder it here. In support of the release, the band will embark on a North American and European tour. Check out the dates below.
