Meet the Africa Center this Saturday!
This Saturday, Sept. 20, will be the public's first chance to meet the new Africa Center (formerly the Museum for African Art). Starting at 10 a.m. and lasting until 5:30 p.m., the event will feature fantastic music from groups like Janka Nabay and the Bubu Gang (who we recently featured in our program on bubu), Chop and Quench (including members of the cast of Fela! on Broadway), and the soukous sounds of Nkumu Isaac Katalay. Definitely not an event to miss! We'll see you there!
