We recently spoke with Haitian DJ and producer Michaël Brun about the upcoming BAYO event at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn on June 28. He mentioned that many contemporary Haitian artists are reinterpreting classic tunes from the past of Haitian music. We asked Michaël to put together a playlist of such tunes, and he kindly obliged.
