On Tues., July 6, a special evening will be broadcast: The Enchanted Africa Ball
Returning to the stage exclusively for the 35th edition of the festival, LE BAL DE L'AFRIQUE ENCHANTÉE and its orchestra Les Mercenaires de l'Ambiance will take the audience on a musical journey across the African continent, through styles, countries and eras. From Ghanaian highlife to Congolese rumba, not forgetting Nigerian Afrobeat, this is an opportunity for the audience to familiarize themselves with the rhythms and stories of the African continent.
The 3 MCs from the radio programme "L'Afrique Enchantée" (France Inter), Soro Solo, Vladimir Cagnolari and Hortense Volle and the 11 musicians of the orchestra are back for one reason only--and it has to be exceptional: to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Nuits d'Afrique international festival in an explosive party. It's going to be hot!

Anniversary closing party
To end this 35th edition in style, the Festival is preparing a very special Anniversary Closing Night. The Festival team has unearthed rare nuggets, memorable moments and exceptional encounters from its priceless audiovisual archives. Thanks to the magic of the Web, festival-goers will be delighted to see or re-see artists who were revealed to the North American public when they performed on the Festival's stages.
