Portuguese Rockuduro?
This just in, we at Afropop have received a video from abroad whose excitement will certainly carry us through the weekend (or, at least until globalFEST). Hybrid group from Portugal has effectively mixed two contrary forms of music and, in proper Angolan style, have yielded a danceable hard-rock lovechild. Described as ferocious and explosive, Throes + The Shine keep sight of their kuduro roots at all times. They combine harsh, biting metal with the glistening sound of kuduro to form...Rockuduro!
