Scholar: Juan-José Gutiérrez
Juan-José Gutiérrez is the Director of the Institute for Mexican and Mexico-US Studies at the Social Behavioral and Global Studies Division of the California State University at Monterey Bay, California. He earned a PhD degree in Cultural Anthropology at UC Santa Barbara in 1997. He is the elected North America / Mexico representative for the Council of the International Oral History Association (IOHA) and Co-editor of the IOHA Newsletter. Interested in Migration, Rural Development, Pedagogy, and Higher Education. Member of the California State University Council for International Education.
