The inimitable Gambian kora maestro, composer and bandleader Sona Jobarteh will be the subject of a feature on CBS's Sunday news magazine 60 Minutes, on November 13, 2022.

60 Minutes is one of the best shows on television when it comes to deep investigative dives into serious and often overlooked issues. But they also do superb cultural pieces. In this case, a team traveled to Gambia with Jobarteh to film.

Also, Afropop's own Banning Eyre was interviewed for the piece. He didn't make the final cut, but will be in the Web extra, 60 Minutes Overtime. You can see both pieces here.
