The Duke of Bachata Joan Soriano comes to Brooklyn
This is a show that should not be missed! Joan Soriano, known as the Duke of Bachata, is coming to Roulette in Downtown Brooklyn on Saturday, April 13th. Soriano grew up in a musical family in the countryside outside of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic; his energetic music is rooted in traditional bachata but also Afro-Dominican palo and gaga. On Saturday night, Joan and the Soriano Family Band will bring songs of joy, amargura (bitterness) and, above all, the tight rhythms and rolling guitars that will make your hips move! Come early for an open rum bar and bachata dance lesson!
