Ticket Giveaway: Yemi Alade at Playstation Theater
Summertime brings a wide variety of concerts to NYC and do we have a show for you!
The famed Nigerian singer/songwriter, Yemi Alade, will be performing at the Playstation Theater, located at 1515 Broadway, on Sat., Aug. 5! She released her last album, Mama Africa, in 2016 and released a follow-up EP entitled Mama Afrique in June of this year. Two of our Afropop Worldwide listeners will have the chance to see this show for free by entering our ticket giveaway!
To enter, email info@afropop.org with the subject line “Yemi Alade Giveaway.” We will choose the winners on Thurs., Aug. 3 at noon and will notify the winners with further details on how to pick up their tickets.
Additionally, there is also the opportunity to meet Yemi Alade through the purchase of a ticket to her show! Take a screenshot of your proof of purchase of a ticket (available on their website), post it to Twitter and/or Instagram and tag #YemiNYC for a chance to meet Alade.
