Tonight! Lee "Scratch" Perry Live + Subatomic Sound System: Dub Champions Festival
The Dub Champions Festival continues tonight with a live performance by one of the renowned legends of dub production, Lee "Scratch" Perry himself, with the BK-based Subatomic Sound System and special guests at Brooklyn Bowl in Williamsburg. Doors at 6, show at 8, $20. More info here.
Last night was Scratch's first New York gallery show for his artwork at Keeping Style Alive Pop Up Gallery in Bushwick. We were lucky enough to spend an intimate evening with the artist on the eve of his show, where we experienced his creative process first hand: an intense meeting of words, colors, concepts and physical objects. Expect more on that soon!
