Afropop Worldwide

This summer, Que Bajo (composed of DJs Uproot Andy and Geko Jones) of the legendary (at least in the underground NYC scene) world/tropical dance parties, started a record label. The first release, in June, was Uproot Andy's remixes of global styles, called Worldwide Ting Volume 1. Worldwide Ting Volume 2  is now out and available for free download. With the dance floor in mind, Uproot Andy mixes and remixes everything from Ethio-jazz to salsa to cumbia to raï. So check this out if you want to dance!
