Yemi Alade: Sweet Video for "Sugar"
It's been a very busy year for Nigerian pop singer Yemi Alade. She's churned out hit after hit from her 2014 debut release King of Queens, and she was recently nominated for "Best African Act" at the 2015 MTV Europe Music Awards, which will be held on Oct. 25 in Assago, Italy.
We featured her hit song "Johnny" in our Africa Now! program. The song is inching close to 29 million views on YouTube.
Yemi recently released the video for "Sugar," the ninth single off King of Queens. The song continues the formula Yemi is known for: infectious, danceable, fun music.
