Planet Afropop - Ghana at WOMEX 2023
The 29th edition of the world's biggest global music pow-wow, WOMEX, just wrapped up in A Coruña, Spain. And Planet Afropop was there. Our coverage starts this edition with two outstanding artists from Ghana, palm-wine bandleader and maestro Kyekyeku and FraFra gospel singer Florence Adooni. We'll hear live performances from both. And Mukwae will tell us about a hot, new trending artist out of South Africa, Tyla, with her hit "Water."
