Afro‑Andean Funk Lights Up DROM

Afro-Andean Funk, a two-time Latin Grammy nominee, brings together Afro-Peruvian rhythm, Andean melody, world music, funk, and rock. Led by Peruvian vocalist Araceli Poma and New York–based bassist and producer Matt Geraghty, the ensemble performs in Spanish, English, and Quechua, connecting ancestral musical traditions to a contemporary, cross-cultural New York sound.

The group has appeared at major international festivals and venues across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, including performances at the China Shanghai International Arts Festival, Lincoln Center, Bryant Park, and the Chautauqua Amphitheater. Their live shows are known for their rhythmic intensity, emotional depth, and strong sense of cultural grounding.

An evening of rhythm, soul, and spirit, from the Andes to New York City. This is a rare showcase performance.
