The Afro-Latino Festival of New York celebrates the contributions that people of African descent from Latin America and the Caribbean have made to our city and the global culture as a whole.

The summer cultural event continues to attract a wide array of artists, both local and international, as well as entrepreneurs, academics, and community leaders. With conferences, culinary presentations and artistic showcases, the festival highlights the work, values and issues important to the Afro-Latino community.

Our mission is to provide a networking space to pay tribute to the African roots of people from Latin America and the Caribbean. The festival commemorates the international decade for people of African Descent declared by the UN (2015-2024) and its principles of "Justice", "Recognition", and "Development."
