Bamba Wassoulou Groove is a collective of five musicians from Bamako, Mali who carry forward the country's rich musical heritage. Founded in 2013 by percussionist Bamba Dembélé, co‑founder of the iconic Super Djata Band, the group blends psychedelic, bluesy electric guitars, intricate solos and soulful vocals to create a powerful modern take on Malian music. Their hypnotic, spiraling riffs evoke the vibrant streets and red earth of Mali, igniting dance floors and captivating audiences worldwide. Inspired by Bambara classics while incorporating fresh compositions, Bamba Wassoulou Groove pushes Mali’s musical legacy into the future.
