We are beyond excited about this announcement because after so long, we are finally back and we cannot wait to celebrate with you! These are the very first two nights of many that we plan to organize in 2021. And we couldn't be happier that this announcement comes just a day after New York has lifted all restrictions.
July 9 & 10 will take place at the DUMBO Archway, the unique outdoor space under the Manhattan bridge, which means whether it rains or it shines, we are good to have fun. The two nights will feature some of our favorite NYC Brazilian musical heroes including Luan Barbosa's Roda de Samba, Forrobodó with Fabiana Masili, Itaiguara Brandão, Felipe Hostins and Gil Oliveira, Batalá the all female Afro Brazilian drum ensemble, Brazilian music connoisseur and NYC staple DJ Greg Caz and a special show by Rio de Janeiro based duo Lívia Nestrovski & Fred Ferreira.
The events also feature art projection on the Manhattan bridge of works by Brazilian artists Alice Quaresma and Chiara Banfi, curated by Gisela Gueiros.
