Afropop Worldwide is thrilled to announce our participation in year-two of the Harlem Meet Africa festival. Not only will this be a showcase of some of our favorite NYC-based and visiting African music acts, it marks the city's transition from outdoor summer concerts to a packed fall season of indoor events. Beautifully curated, and set in one of Harlem's most storied venues, this will be a joyful day of celebration and solidarity for music fans of all stripes! Please join us.
HARLEM MEET AFRICA Festival returns to the Richard Rodgers Amphitheater in Marcus Garvey Park on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 2:00 - 7:00 PM for its second edition. This free annual festival is fun for the whole family, featuring renowned international and local Harlem performers, spoken word, cultural showcases, and amazing African drummers to celebrate the cultural bridge between Harlem and Africa! The festival will provide an inclusive platform for artists and community members to come together, showcasing vibrancy through music, dance, and art. The Harlem Meet Africa Festival is more than just a cultural celebration – it’s a day of unity, education, empowerment, and FUN!
