Latin Grammy Nominated Brazilian Pop Powerhouse IZA will perform her sultry brand of soulful pop when she makes her New York City concert debut on October 18 at Studio 48. As part of her US visit, IZA will also perform October 19 at the 8th Annual Pompano Beach Brazilian Festival in Florida.
Growing up in Rio de Janeiro, Isabela “IZA” Cristina Correira de Lima Lima began singing at the age of 14 at her church. IZA’s powerful vocals and ability to mimic the sounds of superstars such as Beyoncé, Rihanna and Sam Smith quickly earned her viral attention in her home city of Rio de Janeiro where she quickly rose to stardom recording cover songs on her self-titled YouTube channel, which has since garnered more than 600 million views. IZA's growing stardom is unstoppable, and has now reached 7.5 million followers on Instagram. She was named by Billboard Magazine as one of the “Five Female Latin Artists to Keep on Your Radar in 2019,” and named by Brazil’s Vogue the “Real Queen and Inspiring Brazilian Muse,” featured on the cover page by photographer “Domenico” in a Campaign for Dolce & Gabbana.
