The Cuban musician Pablo Milanés (Bayamo,1943) is one of the most prominent composers, singers and guitarists of the author song (trova) in the Spanish language. With more than 70 years of career, he has tackled a diversity of genres of Cuban and American music: from tradition to modernity, from filin to new song, through jazz, rumba, son or bolero, thanks to his great interpretive versatility.
All this background and musical history will be staged with a three-player format (piano, drums and bass), rhythmic and emotional in this DIAS DE LUZ tour. The musician is committed to opening a new horizon, so necessary in these times, with songs composed recently and classics of his work such as "El breve Espacio", "Para vivir" or "Yolanda" among others can be heard.
