Join Afropop Worldwide when we gather to enjoy a rare New York City appearance by Malian singer, guitar wizard and troubadour extraordinaire Habib Koite on Sunday, Nov. 13th at the City Winery, We've frequently featured Habib on our program and have proudly inducted him into the Afropop Hall of Fame.
We'll meet up for an Afropop gathering at City Winery at 7 p.m. (doors at 6, show at 8), We'll sit together and enjoy hanging out and meeting fellow Afropop and Habib fans. The food is good at City Winery and you can dine there, and the way City Winery works means that in order to book a table we have to buy a block of tickets. So we'd do that and you'd check in under the name Sean Barlow/Afropop and their staff would escort you to our table.
